Ah... It's amazing how much better the world seems with a clean house and a long hot shower. And a good dose of chocolate. :)
Some more random musings: Always check your links immediately after a signature change. Blogs aren't nearly as much fun to read if they aren't updated daily. Zippers do not sew in well with 2 kids screaming in the background and another asking for a drink of water. Snow is much prettier when you're not driving in it. 2 year olds are not good at knock knock jokes. Kids never sleep in on their days off from school. Easy Bake ovens are not easy (especially when labeled "for 8 years and up" and the receivers are 5). 8pm bedtime is the most wonderful rule ever.
