Driving two 5 hour stretches in the minivan, times 5 kids, minus one husband, plus one $100 speeding ticket, divided by 36 hours, equals no fun. Especially with only 6 hours of sleep during which I got a whiny wake up call every half an hour. The kids rotated wake up call duty so they were all rested enough to get me up at 7am. *yawn* On a good note, I did get to celebrate my dad's 50th birthday, chit chat with my sibs, and see Return of the King. But Dorothy had it right: "There's no place like home."
