Long weekend, drank too much wine, stayed up way too late, slept in a freezing basement, and woke up way too early. But it was fun and the kids had a blast with their cousins (my first cousins, for my kids they're first cousins once removed. I'm not an aunt yet *pouts*).
This morning I woke up and could not get warm. Two shirts, pj pants, heavy socks, shoes, a jacket and a quilt later, Greg told me to take some tylenol because I probably had a fever. Who knows, I never took my temperature. I'm sort of warm now but my hands are still chilly. Therefore we skipped swim lessons today. Darn... *rolls eyes*
It's been a whole day of the kids not listening. Which is terribly frustrating. I hate repeating myself and even after I repeat myself, they are not comprehending what I am telling them. Ugh...
If you haven't noticed, my writings haven't been up to their usual par (which is set really low too). I've been feeling a bit off lately, maybe due to the overwhelming task of getting the house ready to sell (I know, I know, look at the little steps and not the big picture) or school ending soon (it has for the girls and it hasn't been a picnic *sigh*) or swim lessons (can you tell I really hate these?) or playing way too much Pogo (*sarcasm* Thanks LostInNY and The Wife *winks*). Hmm, I wonder how many more times I can use () before I reach my daily limit. haha Anyway what I'm saying is please hang with me here, I bought pizza rolls and Mountain Dew at the grocery store today so my writing muse should be riding back into town any minute now.
