I've decided that being a mom requires a huge sense of humor. My life is so amusing. Not only do I have Kyle who likes to scream in Target stores, I have Zach who has the memory of an elephant and the routine requirements of Rainman. Em and Ally look alike and enjoy driving each other (and me) nuts because they both want to wear the peach/pink striped shirt and neither the pink/white striped shirt. Kelly speaks some strange language and feels the need to always be on my lap if I'm sitting down. But she doesn't sit, she climbs and wiggles and stomps. Ouch.

So today's humorous events include an escaped gerbil and an escaped dog. I swear the gerbil must be able to go through glass. As for the dog, he has no magic tricks, Kyle opened the gate. The dog was caught, the gerbil is still loose and may be gone forever because the kitchen door to the garage and the big garage door were open for awhile earlier. I guess I should be glad I haven't had any escaped children. Although there are several hours left in the day...

We were 15 minutes late to swim practice this morning. Which actually made it more bearable for me because I was only in the water for 25 minutes instead of 40. The kids have chalked the swingset that I'm suppose to stain today and I've already made 4 phone calls, way over my limit of 0. Tomorrow is the girls' kindergarten screening, oh boy. Greg's on his way to Fresno which just sounds fun. I plan to defrag the computer and watch Angel this evening.

See? Funny stuff. Don't bother to ask what I'm on, I'm not sharing. *sticks tongue out*
