I don't have much hope for today being a "good day." Greg left for Maryland at about 4 this morning. It's going to be a long week but we'll muddle through.

I threw away all the sippy cups in the house yesterday and Kyle is going through withdraw. I would have had him off them sooner but he would take Kelly's away if he didn't have one of his own. So he has pretty much been screaming at me since he woke up.

Actually all the kids are grumpy and whiney, the after effects of staying up late and eating too much sugar over the weekend. When visiting other people, I only have so much control. We even sent our kids to bed an hour or two before A's (but their kids will nap, mine won't) and Greg told his mom to keep the sugar to a minimum last night at dinner. Still Ally drank about 6 cups of Kool-Aid (I hate the stuff) because she'd hit up a different adult for a refill so no one knew how much she had already had. I know it's a grandparent's prerogative to spoil but I hate being stuck with the aftermath.

Kelly's screaming at me now and we really have to run errands (oh joy...) so I better go. Let's hope that everyone's mood improves or I may be calling those children buying gypsies.
