Random Stuff...
I have a new pet peeve. I cannot stand people sitting on the arms of sofas and chairs. Get off my furniture!
So I was being all careful with the new van and parked out in the middle of nowhere this morning at Meijers. We came back out and some dumbass had parked directly behind me, about 6 inches from my bumper. How the hell am I suppose to open the back doors to load the groceries? Looked to the right, tons of open spaces. Looked to the left, tons of open spaces. Grrr... I did buy a new mop and broom, woohoo for me and my clean freak alter ego.
Greg's off to... *checks her handy dandy Greg locator Word document* Philadephia and then Raleigh for the week. At least this trip makes a little more sense than the one he did awhile back, Montana to Connecticut.
Zach has 2 days of school left. I came up with the brilliant idea that the kids and I should try to do a little day trip once a week all summer for something educational and fun. And free! Or nearly so since we do have the Disney World/Florida trip in August. I heard this website advertised on the radio moments after my epiphany: Discover Ohio. It's fate! hehe I need to poke around the site some more but it shouldn't be too hard to find 10 or so things to do cheaply this summer.

On today's To Do list: trip to the library with the kids, change the gerbils' litter, fold the towels, win one more hand of Euchre at Pogo.com, tape a TV show off the DVR. Completed: moved minivan's stuff (CDs, maps, etc) to the new van, grocery shopping.
