What a weekend... Do you ever have those days when you wish you could start over? On Saturday I wish we had remembered Kelly's port-a-crib and that I had paid closer attention to the speed limit on the express loop around Cleveland. 60mph speed limit on an interstate with express lanes? Talk about a major speed trap! The new van just goes too, the old minivan would shake at bit if I neared 80. $130 ticket for doing 79 in a 60mph zone. ARGH! I figured out how to use the cruise control on the way home because it's way too easy for me to creep above 75.
Oh and Kelly woke up at about 2am and wouldn't lay back down in the tent, keeping Greg and I awake for about 2 hours. If she had been in the port-a-crib, we could have let her play in it while we slept. As it was, she kept trying to wake up the other kids or stomp on me. *yawn* The rest of the weekend was a lot of fun though so it was all worth it.
So today I've already done some general cleaning, the laundry, sent some emails, and made some phone calls. Greg's off to somewhere today, he'll be back Thursday night. I plan to start the prep work for painting (sanding, cleaning, finding paint chips and color codes) and spackle the toy room dings and dents. I also have some pictures and scrapbook supplies to put together. I'm right now working on last June in the kids' books, I don't want to fall anymore behind. It should be a good week. :)
