Whew! Today was such a better day that I'm so thankful. Like "run out in the middle of the street and praise the Lord" type thankful. Although I can't say it was a perfect day because we still had the witching hour of 4-5pm. Which gave me a headache painful enough to bring tears to my eyes. Advil Migraine killed it pretty quickly though and I made pancakes and sausage links for dinner. hehe
So some good things from today:
First I declared it PJ day. We haven't had one in such a long time and the way the schedule looks we won't have another chance for awhile.
I picked up the house early this morning which meant we had time to sit and read books before lunch. I'm awesome at those "Where's Waldo?" books. hehe I finished up a Holly Lisle book that I bought at Half Price Books. It was good enough that I'll probably go to the expense of finding some of her other novels.
I fixed the garbage disposal switch! The old switch was probably the actual problem with the old garbage disposal but everything works now. And better continue to work! *threatens all household appliances*
I also washed, folded and put away all the laundry. The kids had baths and were allowed to stay up until 8:30pm to watch a Toon Disney show. Another set of digital pictures arrived in the mail but not my Two Peas scrapbook order. Hmph, maybe tomorrow on that one.
I thought about spackling the toy room walls next but I think I'll give myself the night off. Besides it won't take long to spackle ten thousand little dings and dents...
