I "heart" my new cell phone.
The one Kelly threw in the bathtub still sort of works but the zero key is broke and it turns itself off occasionally when I try to answer a call. Plus the phone was made in like 1998 so I figured I deserved a phone that was at least this century (I have children younger than that cell phone!).
Have you shopped for a cell phone lately? What a pain in the ass! First I didn't want a camera phone. I already have a very nice digital camera. Or PDA hybrid. Franklin Covey day planner, thank you! Or walkie talkie capabilities. People who use those who aren't on a construction site are so pretentious. All I want is a plain jane cell phone that has caller ID and vibrate. What's a frugal gal to do? eBay!
First I googled "Sprint PCS flip phone external caller ID" and found a cute LG model. Reviews were mixed on the phone but hey, it was manufactured in 2002! Plus new in the box were going for less than $50 on eBay. Buy It Now!
And I love it! Compared to my old one, it's the same thickness closed but lengthwise half the size. I've had issues with borrowing other flip phones and when opened, I felt they either didn't reach my ear or my mouth. But this one curves perfectly to my face. And it's so cute! I could cuddle it forever in my hand... *ahem*
Shiny! I'm keeping this one far, far away from both Kelly and bodies of water...
