It's that time again! Blogging for Books #2: Servitude

"We've all either held jobs or done some menial work for others that was degrading, demoralizing, and (in hindsight, at least) funny as hell. For this month's Blogging for Books, write a blog entry about the worst experience you've ever had working for someone else." Read The Zero Boss's full entry

Crap. I'm so screwed this time around. I have had exactly 4 jobs my entire life and they have all been entirely too pleasant.
  1. Fast food during high school. Menial but boring.
  2. Secretary helper in psychology department at college. Again menial and boring.
  3. Hostess at a restaurant (where I met Greg, woohoo!). Boring although the atmosphere was cool.
  4. Counter girl at flower shop (occasionally I made arrangements). Mostly fun except a bit stressful around major floral holidays (Valentine's, Mother's Day, Christmas).
My work history barely spans 4 years and according to the Social Security Department, I have made a whoping $7400 my entire life. Pitiful I know. I guess I'll be sitting this round out. Blah...
