I often joke that hurricanes are the reason I don't live in Florida. Well guess what? Not only is Ivan flooding areas around here (they canceled the high school homecoming football game tonight), it knocked out our power for 3 hours this afternoon (strong winds toppled a big tree a couple of blocks away). What the heck? So I don't have Florida's nice sunny warm weather but I get the effects of hurricanes anyway? I'm rather grumpy about this. Hey Fates, Friday the 13th was last month!
There's no chocolate in the house and the weather is too crappy for a walk (plus there's that whole issue of walking with 5 children). Oh and Zach has hockey practice at 7am tomorrow morning which means we all have to be up and out the door by 6:15am. Can I please have last weekend back?
Update on Tommy and Greg: They are both in California. I spoke to Greg and they were sitting at different terminals at LA X waiting for different flights to the same place (Fresno). I will never understand airline travel.
But to cheer myself up, I took this cute photo of Kelly earlier. She dressed herself, that's her swimsuit cover-up and her new Care Bear shoes. Oh and a piece of wheat bread, she took her sandwich apart at lunch.
