It's September, it's September! *does the Snoopy dance of joy*
I love this month and season. Which is funny because as a kid I hated them both. September had that whole icky Back-to-School vibe then. And fall meant winter was coming and I hate the cold and snow. But now as an adult, I can enjoy the month for its true beauty... My birthday!
No really, I love autumn because of the leaves changing colors, pumpkin patches, Halloween (my favorite holiday!), the cooler weather, wearing jackets and jeans, fall breezes. And this is the season when I fell in love with Greg (8 years ago!) so that makes me feel all warm and fuzzy too. Did I mention my birthday?
Spring used to be my favorite season. But then I developed allergies so I hate the whole month of March due to some unknown plant rudely polluting the air with pollen. And the spring rain showers I loved as a kid now drive me crazy because they mean my children are stuck in the house and worse, mud! So fall is the best season in my opinion. The mosquitoes are dead and it's the perfect weather for a camp fire and long hikes in the woods.
And my birthday happens to be September 25th if anyone feels like sending me a present. *winks*
