Lovely, lovely day. *sarcasm*

Well one, Zach's hockey season is starting early. Good thing, right? I mean we are spending $300, might as well get our money's worth. However not at 7am on a Saturday morning! ARGH! Where will Greg be? Hiking up Half Dome with my brother. Whatever, we'll be there. (Note to self: buy breakfast bars and lollipops)

Second, my scale has turned on me. (We have this evil model) The scale and I usually get along great but this morning it spit out 140.8. 140.8?!?! I did a quick check to make sure no one else was on the scale. *sigh* I should have known that a six pack of Mike's Hard Lemonade, way too many servings of chips and dip, and all that birthday cake over the weekend weren't going to go quietly into the night. My waist more like it...

So since I'm a goal orientated person, here's my plan. On Oct 31st, I want to be 128. I can probably easily drop back down to the 134-136 range that I've been hovering at since March but I want to be under 130. I'm 5'3" by the way and some would say I should be closer to 120. But then I personally think I look like a stick and it would require too much muscle loss. So 128 it is.

I thought about posting a "before" picture in my undies but too many real life friends and family read and I don't want to freak them out. haha So instead, measurements. I have no idea what a reasonable amount of inches to lose would be so no expectations here. I just don't want the top one to change (diet gods? I'm begging here, please, please, please!).

Bust: 36 1/2"
Waist: 34" (what the hell?)
Hips: 40 1/2"
Thigh: 22" (seriously?)

Other goals: wean myself off Mountain Dew (*hides Mountain Dew can*), drink more water, and exercise. I'm going to buy the cheapest pedometer I can find today and then aim for whatever I'm suppose to aim for. Yeah, some more research may be needed here. Also dust off those dumb exercise tapes and check out the library's selection. Hey, I might even walk to the library to do that, bonus points!

October 31st... katiefleck vs. evil scale, round 2
