Spring break is going pretty well so far. We haven't done a whole lot but after reading Chris's post I'm feeling okay with that.
Ally's appointment with the ENT yesterday went as I suspected. Half an hour of driving and a 45 minute wait to see the doctor (we were 5 minutes early for our appointment so make that 50 minutes) for 2 minutes of the doctor looking at Ally's cheek and declaring her fine. Then a 10 minute wait to check out (receptionist was yapping on the phone) and half an hour drive back home. 117 minutes of my life gone forever. *sigh*
Tonight I need to go shopping for the Easter Bunny and tomorrow I'm going to make sure the guest room is free of Cheez-it crumbs because Greg's sister is flying in for the weekend. I am so excited! Course this means I need to plan an Easter dinner, something I've never had to do because we've always gone to Greg's parents' house. Anyone want to give me a refresher course on hiding Easter eggs? (Greg's brother has always done that part too.) You may have noticed I haven't bitched about sewing Easter dresses. Because I'm not! Good old Target to the rescue this year.
Now then there's a comfy leather recliner and a snuggly 3 year old calling me to watch Little Bear.
