Good morning!

See I knew Greg would find a way to get me. Although I can't say he's having a delightful time at the moment since he's on a red eye from California that lands in 5 hours. (1:30am plus 5 hours equals 6:30am, just checking my math here)

So back to why I'm up at 1:30am. Zach has a hockey game at 7:30am tomorrow. Err, today. And it seems at last week's game, unbenounced to me, Greg said we'd bring muffins to the Dec 9th game. Hmm...

Okay so he did tell me midway through the week that I needed to bring muffins. We had already decided I'd be taking Zach to this game due to Greg's travel schedule. But then I got sick and no one wants to eat muffins baked by an ill woman (not that I would have wanted to bake them then either) so I put it off. And today (err, yesterday) I didn't really want to bake with the kids (mean scrooge mommy) so I put it off until they were in bed. But since it is Friday (err, was Friday) they stayed up late and then I got distracted by folding laundry and watching Man vs. Wild (he has nice uh... teeth, yeah that's it, for an Englishman) and so I remembered around 11pm that I needed to bake muffins.

I also kinda forgot that muffins take longer to bake than cookies (20 vs. 10 minutes). Maybe I should ask Santa for a second oven.

Anyway besides the 7:30am hockey game, we have an 11am pancake breakfast with Santa at church and the girls and I have a Girl Scout thing from 12:30-4pm. Luckily due to my procrastinating nature, the Nutcracker was sold out for tonight so we're going on Sunday at 6pm. Oh and there's another 7:30am hockey game on Sunday.

But honestly my biggest problem right now is figuring out how to transport 72 muffins (36 blueberry, 36 banana) to the game. Hmm...
