The.kids.are.still.home.

But they go in at 10-ish (2 hour delay) for a few hours of socializing and driving their teachers nuts (instead of me, weeee!!!). I'm going to write in permanent marker on Zach's forehead: "I need my coat." He's been wearing an odd combination of a long sleeve shirt, sweater, and hooded sweatshirt when outside these last few days. But he really does need to bring his winter coat home. It's kept his cubby at school warm long enough.

I suppose I also need to chip away at the mass of snow and ice deposited at the end of the driveway by our wonky snow plow. The van hasn't moved in days and for that matter, I haven't left the house in days (Days, ha! It's been since Tuesday). I hear there's a great big world out there to explore (or mostly I feel the Target clearance aisle calling my name).

I'll give you a sneak peek of next week. The kids don't have school on Monday (President's Day) and there's snow in the forecast on Wednesday. So I figure they'll be in school on Tuesday and maybe Friday. Can't wait...
