I now totally get why people pay hundreds of dollars for other people to design web sites for them. Before I was like, geez it's just a little code and some fancy Photoshop images. I coded this website (ignore the wonkiness over there...) and while I was dreaming in HTML for awhile, it wasn't too bad. When it came to setting up Blue Kitty Designs, I figured I could do it again. I wasn't going to spend my measly $3.49 profit on someone else's CSS. And then I ran into MySQL and PHP.

My brain is fried. I'm trying to install Zen Cart (because it's free! and I'm cheap!) as my web site's shopping cart. After about 4 hours and fighting with my MySQL (is that right, two my's?) database, I finally made it to the finish. And ran smack into a Fatal Error. *bangs head on desk*

I reloaded some files (from the same original files on my computer, it makes no sense) and voila, it worked. But now I need to enter values and create templates and what the hell does PHP stand for in the first place? There's definitions and defaults and over rides and a bunch of other goobly gook I don't understand. Please throw me a bone here with some < > and margins. I can even do tables and div classes. I've never wanted to see a < a href=" " > < /a > link code so badly in my life.

I'm giving the web site a day or two to settle. I plan to check my library for a PHP for Dummies book later. Worse comes to worse, I make some nice description pages and link back to Etsy. Or *shudders* add PayPal "Buy It Now" buttons.
