I totally need like a little angel to sit on my shoulder and bop me over the head when people ask me to volunteer for things. "Sure I can do that!" *bop*

I've been rather cheerful that today is our last Brownie meeting for this school year. Except that no parent has volunteered to help transport the girls to the local park. I can take 8, we have 13 and while the co-leader drives a Suburban, she can only ever take 3, go figure. And along that line, I'm dropping 3 girls off afterwards because their parents aren't able to pick them up. We're so going to night meetings next year, this after school babysitting crap is over. Plus depending on which weather site I check there's a 20 to 90% chance of light showers or thunderstorms this afternoon. It hasn't rained in weeks, thanks Mother Nature.

And then tonight I volunteered us to host a Cub Scout meeting. We were actually suppose to do it in February but it was snowed out (surprise, surprise).

Next Wednesday we're planning the Cub Scout Campfire meeting too. Guess what? Greg's probably going to be out of town.

Here's where the head bopping angel especially needs to come in. I'm volunteering at Girl Scout camp again this year. But for two weeks instead of one! *bop* And I'm the "leader" of the second session. *bop* But the "leader" of the first session is wishy washy and not very forceful so I stepped up to organize our planning meeting and activities. *bop* And of course I also have to do that for the second session as well. *bop* It's the same theme but unfortunately due to having completely different people each session, they all have completely different ideas (except the wishy washy leader, she's way too "the girls will have fun, don't worry" for my taste). Right now I'm sifting through emails, suggestions, requests, and schedules for 11 different people. *bop*

Ow, I kinda have a headache now. The funniest part of all of this is that I hated Girl Scouts when I was a child. Except for the Thin Mints. Which reminds me, I think I'm still the Cookie Mom for the Brownie troop again next year. *bop*
