Update: Our CVS just opened a Minute Clinic inside the store so I gave it a try. I tested negative for Strep (weird but she said to come back in a day for a free retest and they'll run an overnight culture) but I have a prescription nasal spray for my allergies now (Rhinocort, budesonide). It's a start right? Off to pop some Tylenol and *grumbles* find a new doctor.
You know how it annoys me when people are sick but won't admit they are sick and get treatment until they are really really sick? And I'm all like, just go see the doctor dumbass.
Pot meet kettle.
102.1 temperature. Plus earache, sinus/jaw ache (it hurts to chew, yawn, sniffle), snotty nose (no longer clear, crap), and a headache. And I may have a sore throat but too many other things hurt more.
I'm a dumbass.
(By the way, Kyle and Emily are perfectly fine today. Rotten kids with healthy immune systems.)
So it may just be the fever confusing me but where exactly do I go with this? Today I have a Brownie meeting, Zach has a baseball game, the twins have soccer practice, and I have a Girl Scout leader meeting. I don't currently have a doctor, we have new insurance, and I doubt any new doctor could get me in today anyways. I think I'll just take some Dayquil, a few Tylenol, and brew another pot of tea.
Can someone please be my mommy and make me a doctor's appointment?
