I'm still here. Just dealing with life. Not as well as I'd like to be but I'm hanging in there.
My birthday is always hard for me, I don't know why. This one is particularly weird because it's the dreaded 3-0 and Greg's out of town and due to Sept 25th being in the middle of the week and we're out in Maryland, I'll be spending it alone with the kids. And I'm cruddy at making new friends so I don't even have anyone locally to invite over. Seriously need to work on the "real life" friend thing, no offense to you all but it's hard to go out and share coffee and cake with the internet. I'm just over thinking this whole birthday thing and kicking myself for not being a more outgoing "let's be best friends forever!" type person. Don't worry about me, I'll be fine on Sept 26th.
So... Still here. Everyone is alive and kicking. Sewing a lot. Trying to keep everyone running in the right direction and the house from falling down. Typical normal stuff, I suppose. I just wish someone would hurry up and invent a teleportation device already. Then I'd invite all you all over (Maryland is a "southern" state, right? lol) and we'd have a huge 1st anniversary of my 29th birthday party. And life would be good. Except for the hangover and cleaning up parts the next day.
