4 of the 5 Halloween costumes are finished!
Em and Ally have a Halloween/Birthday party to attend tonight so I had to finish theirs early. Kyle's is very similar to Ally's (she's a black bat, he's a vampire bat) so I put his together as well. All I did was cut out the bottom sleeve seam and side seam of a T-shirt and then sewed them back together putting a black fleece wing shape between the layers. Em's a vampire and she wanted a purple velvet-like gown with a (store bought) black cape. I have no idea what the fascination is with bats and vampires this year...
Course I saved the trickiest costume for last. Zach wants to be a piece of pie. Apple pie to be exact. His has to be done by Tuesday (yet another Halloween party). I have the right colors of fleece, I have batting, I have wire, I have interfacing, I can figure this out. I hope...
