The Feast
(Kyle sat down at the table last Thanksgiving and declared we were having a "feast" and has been looking forward to this year's "feast" for a few weeks now.)
So breakfast will be eggs, Canadian bacon, and toast. (I'm feeling lazy.)
The appetizers are ham pinwheels, veggie tray, apple slices with dip, pita chips with roasted pepper & feta dip, Skyline Chili dip (for the kids and man, we like our dip around here), crescent dogs, and dried beef ball with crackers.
Then we have the turkey, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, dressing, two veggie casseroles my MIL is bringing (thanks!), corn casserole, cranberries, chicken & Amish noodles, and dinner rolls. I think that's everything...
Dessert, I have a pumpkin pie, a pumpkin tart, and a cherry pie (all store bought, I'm only one woman! lol). One of our guests is bringing another desert and my MIL baked cookies yesterday. I think I'll also let the kids bake some cookies because they've been bugging me forever to make Snickerdoodles. And there's always a few dozen boxes of Girl Scout cookies still here...
Let the feasting begin!
