This week has been all about moving.
Well duh, you say. But I mean me moving stuff all around the house. First it was moving stuff into a corner that I didn't want packed and put on the truck. Then it was moving stuff from upstairs to downstairs so I could paint and clean carpets. And then bring stuff up from the basement so I could mop the vinyl floor. And then I had to move the stuff out of the kitchen and bathrooms for the maids. And then finally move stuff out of the dining and family rooms so I could paint and clean those carpets. Somewhere along the line I also did some rearranging in the garage to sweep it out.
You'd think everything would be nice and compacted in one space now but I still have the 5 kids running around here so there's stuff already spread out in the kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, garage, and family room again. *sigh*
The good news is today's cleaning list is to mop a little bit of the basement floor (kinda got tired of lugging the mop and bucket upstairs for water changes) and empty & wipe out the refrigerator. Oh and gather and pack all the remaining stuff...
Do you think after all this moving I can get a pass at the new house that allows me to sit in a chair and knit socks instead of moving more stuff around?
Yeah I didn't think so either...
