The two items I need to locate today: the power cord with foot pedal for the sewing machine (ack!) and a box of guinea pig food to give away.

Yesterday I alternated between periods of unpacking and being very overwhelmed. I think I cleared out 8 boxes and moved a few into storage or the garage. I also took apart and moved two tables and ran some errands (much to the dismay of the children).

Today we're going grocery shopping and to buy paint. Over the weekend I'm going to prime and paint the family room and my craft room (you'll see why when I post before and after pictures next week). The new furniture for the family room arrives Monday morning so I definitely need to finish it. I also know the paint color for the kitchen but I'm not in as big of a rush to do it. It'll depend on how many times the kids demand to go to the pool. Too bad Greg's at UNC (MBA program) or I'd send him. Oh right, he still has a job too (he now works from home when he's home).

Is it Friday? Oh it is! Happy Friday to all you 9 to 5'ers!
